New Features:

• The new HIPAA tab screen, located within the Personal Data Section of TheraScribe® 4.0, provides space to track important HIPAA documentation related to protected health information (PHI). Check boxes and drop down menus allow you to enter whether or not a patient has been provided with the required PHI Privacy Notice.
• Pop-up boxes and help screens help keep you from accidentally releasing or printing information or entering data that put you in jeopardy of violating HIPAA standards.
• Audit trails help you protect your practice by automatically recording any and all access to the client's record-displaying the provider name, date, time and specific data viewed.
• Audit trails also keep track of when PHI is released and to whom. A patient's requests for amendments to his/her PHI are also tracked.
• Enhanced security allows you to hide psychotherapy notes and other sensitive patient data from unauthorized personnel-of particular concern to group practices and facilities with multiple providers and support staff.
• A screen visibility time-out feature is now included allowing the screen to go blank if the user does not interact with the program for a pre-set period of time, preventing displayed dates from being viewed by unauthorized personnel.
• A new Session Data report is now available to be printed within the Reports section of TheraScribe® 4.0. This report itemizes the factual data regarding the psychotherapy session, such as session number, date, start and end time, provider, patient diagnosis, and session progress rating.
