Encyclopedia
of Computational Chemistry
Setting
the Standards in Computational Chemistry "The ECC represents the
most comprehensive effort yet to cover the field of computational
chemistry in its full breadth. The effort of the has been successful
in most points and the ECC is thus a must-have for all chemistry
libraries". - Angewandte Chemie
- Starting with over 300 main articles and 375 definition articles
- with regular updates
- Approximately 50 new and updated main articles added each
year
- Powerful online searching by full text, title, author, section
and references
- Up-to-date literature references, linked to CrossRef and listed
websites
- Covering seven areas of computational chemistry from ab-initio
computations to biological and biochemical applications
The Encyclopedia of Computational Chemistry (ECC)
is a timely, comprehensive and authorative work, which describes
many aspects of this young and fascinating discipline from its inception
to the present day.ECC contains over 300 Articles, all extensively
cross-referenced. Technical terms are explained in short Definitions.
Each year around 50 new and updated Articles will be added, so that
the Encyclopedia will keep up-to-date with the development of computational
chemistry. The content of ECC can be accessed in three ways:
- In the classical A to Z format.
- Several of the Subject Areas under which the information in
in ECC is sorted are listed below. .
- Algorithms and Software
- Biological and Biochemical Modeling
- Chemical Applications
- Cheminformatics
- General Topics
- Quantum Mechanics: Theory & Development
- Semi-Classical Methods
- For the definition of technical terms use the link Definitions
or the Definition button in the top bar.
