The Deming Revolution
 This
instructional video is a slightly edited version of the PBS report
The Prophet of Quality. W. Edwards Deming’s life story is an
interesting and easy way to begin to understand his revolutionary
thinking about creating better goods and services while learning
to take joy in work. The documentary explains Dr. Deming’s
theories of cooperation, continual improvement, decision-making
based on fact, and how to view an organizations as a system. The
original documentary was edited to include the story of how the
philosophy of continual improvement was applied successfully at
Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, Alaska.
