A Full Size Sampling Bowl That Folds Down for Easy Travel

Consultants and trainers that are on the road have continually asked for a sampling bowl that could be easily transported. Our new collapsible sampling bowl is the answer to their need, it completely folds up and fits in a hard sided case. The bowl is a big 13" x 9" x 10" size and made from ½" Lucite.

It comes with three paddles with 25, 50, and 100 hole patterns and 2600 beads with the same distribution as the SBL2000. The sturdy carrying case measures 18" x 13" x 7" with foam padding inside.

SBL-2000 Sampling Bowl

Sampling Bowl Measures 14" x 11½" x 9" Deep, and Comes with Beads and Paddles.

The first sampling bowl was used by Walter Shewhart (inventor of the control chart) back in the 1920's. He used an old kitchen mixing bowl for teaching statistical principles. Our modern Sampling Bowl is handsomely constructed of Lucite and measures 14" x 11½" x 9" deep and includes three sampling paddles with 25, 50, and 100 hole patterns. The bowl also comes with 1800 white, 400 red, 100 yellow, 100 green, 100 black, and 100 blue beads.

Extra beads may be purchased with any sampling bowl order. The Sampling Bowls most popular use is the Deming Red Bead Experiment as described in Chapter 4 of The Deming Dimension. A complete set of instructions is included with each sampling device.

It is also effective for teaching attribute control charts, probability theory, acceptance sampling, and developing OC curves. Like the Quincunx, applications are only limited by the imagination of the instructor.
