Developer Christian Terwiesch
Dr. Terwiesch is Assistant Professor of Operations and Information
Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
His research interest lies in product and process development,
technology strategy, and production ramp-up. As part of his research
in the auto industry, he has developed a managerial framework
for organizing knowledge-workers, specifically development engineers.
He is also actively involved in the Sloan Center on the information
storage industry at the University of California at San Diego,
where he investigates problems resulting from globally dispersed
development processes. Christian holds a Master's degree in Business
Information Technology from the University of Manheim, Germany,
and a Ph.D. in Management from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
